 Layne mentioned that he really wanted a chalkboard to write scripture verses on and hang it somewhere the whole family could see it. I found this $8 frame at Michaels, had my dad cut me the chalkboard (already with chalkboard paint on it) and glued it together with wood glue. I think it's pretty cute. Apparently it's not manly enough for Layne, he's thinking of making his own with just a plain frame. Fine by me.....I will embellish his rectangular frame with little banners or something. Anyway, the little piece of chalkboard I used came to be about $2 or less.....so, a $10 project and very quick! |
