- Lay out school clothes the night before to avoid morning chaos - check, still had chaos
- Make halfway decent breakfast for the kids - check - only cold cereal once this week....that is miraculous for me!
- Load backpacks with fee money, important papers and show-and-tell - check
- Get both kids to school on time for 5 days in a row- check
- Remember to pick up kids- check (I only remembered on the early release day because I had post it notes with the times to pick them up all over the house)
- Have Family Home Evening - check
- Visit the physical therapist AGAIN - check (I won't be running tomorrow.)
- Have dinner ready early on Tuesday so I can go to Young Women's - check
- Get Kennedy to dance class - check
- Attend Back to School Night - check
- Attend meeting for Young Women - check
- Take kids to play soccer with other kids - check
- Help kids with homework - check
- Try and do something fun with Hyrum who has been dragged from place to place all week - check
- Organize downstairs pantry - check
I am soooooo happy it's FRIDAY. This has been an extremely busy, crazy, strange week. I know I'll get this schedule down and it won't be so insane after a few months, but I am EXHAUSTED!!!! In fact, I think I'm going to go have a nap before we have to run get Kennedy.
Here's my Kennedy all dolled up on the second day of school. She HATES getting her hair curled, but I love it, so sometimes she has to endure the torture. Notice her black boots (they are from my friend's little girl). Kennedy adores them and says they look very 'womanly'! YIKES!
Amidst the craziness, I managed to accomplish ONE thing on my To Do List.....my downstairs pantry is now organized. I was too embarassed to get a before picture, but let's just say I had NO idea how much stuff was down there or what I even had. There is a lot of wasted space because these shelves are NOT what I want. Layne is going to fix it sometime, but it could be awhile.
