The 4th

     We stayed in IF this year and it was a nice, relaxing weekend.  We took the kids to the parade on Saturday morning....what a ZOO.  I couldn't believe the crowd.  We got there at 8:20 am and could barely find a place to sit.  By the time the parade was over it was noon and the kids were tired and hungry.   We had lunch and ALL took a nap.  At dusk we had a 4th of July Float.....pineapple ice cream with sprite and POP ROCKS candy.  I think it was more fun than tasty.  I hadn't had pop rocks in a LONG time.  Then we had our own little fireworks show and finally stumbled into bed by 11:00 pm.  I am truly grateful for the freedoms we enjoy here.  Happy Independence Day!
