What's It Worth?

     Let's face it....Hyrum gets bored all day long home alone with me.  He was in heaven last week when Kennedy and Matt were home sick because he had playmates!!  Needless to say, he's getting way too much  time in front of the t.v.  He's even been going around saying, ".......coming soon on dvd".   Well, I stole this idea from a friend who pinned it on pinterest....I still haven't let myself actually join pinterest because I'm scared I'll spend way too much time on it.  But, a friend pinned it (thanks, Jen) and I saw that she had pinned it on facebook and I had to give it a try.

You take 8 cups of flour and mix it with one cup of baby oil.  The result; a nice, soft powder that feels great on your hands (smells good too) and is a tiny bit moldable if you pack it down.  

Yes, it was a big mess and no I don't recommend small hot wheel cars as part of this activity (way to hard to clean out the nooks and crannies).  I'd stick to bigger toys, measuring cups and spoons.

Yes, I had to peel off his entire outfit and wash him up and sweep the floor and later wash all of the toys, BUT  Hyrum was happy and not just for 15 minutess.....for 2 1/2 HOURS!!!  He wouldn't even stop playing in it to help eat make cookie dough and that is saying something.  He used his imagination and was happy and I got a LOT done.....I'd say it was worth it.
