The Garden

This is our second year having our garden out at the church farm.  I love it because it's blessed soil so our food actually grows (plus they do the watering).  I hate it because it's not in our backyard and we have to make it a point to drive out to weed and harvest.   I wish we could take credit for the tall bean plants and the corn at the back of this photo....they belong to my cousin, whom we share this plot with.  BUT the HUGE pumpkin plants that are growing in the front (about to go out in the road), those are ours!!!  We have harvested tons of zucchini (and we only planted ONE plant this year), a few potatoes, carrots, onions, peas, green beans and cucumbers.  We are still waiting to see what happens with our watermelon, summer squash and pumpkins.
