What is worse than having sick kids? Feeling sick yourself AND having sick kids. What is worse than feeling sick yourself AND having sick kids? Feeling sick yourself, having sick kids and having a husband who is out of town for the day so he can't come to your rescue!
What is so great about living 40 minutes away from your mom? She can come to your rescue! That's what happened yesterday. I'm so grateful to live closer to home for lots of reasons and this would be one of them!
My mom came and took the kids out for some fresh air while I napped, she cleaned my kitchen, did the laundry, made dinner and helped clean up some not so good-smelling fluids which came from my adorable children. Thanks, MOM!
Luckily I feel much better today and although my kids aren't quite up to par, at least I feel like I can handle it.
