Adventures in Sewing Part IV: A Bag

   I actually started making myself this bag 4 months ago, but life has gotten in the way of my sewing/crafting time lately.  So, I forced myself to finish it so I could start other projects I've been longing to do.  Here is what it looked like when I first finished it:

I thought it looked okay, but sort of plain and I didn't LOVE it.  So, I added some ribbon:

If you can't tell, it's stuffed full in the second photo which means I'm using it.  That's a good sign.  The inside has 6 huge pockets which I love....I was always losing things at the bottom of my other bags!  Now that this project is complete, I hope to have many more finished before school starts.

Cute bag. I need a new bag to hold all of my church supplies. By the way, can't get over how cute your kids are getting and yes I do agree with you they grow up way to fast.
