The Proof

Kennedy, Hyrum and I decorated our homemade gingerbread house the day before Thanksgiving.  I had to make a bunch of gingerbread for Young Women's, so I baked the pieces for a house  for my kids and set them aside.  That made the decorating more enjoyable.  We decorated, (well, Hyrum stuffed his face full of candy) for a good hour.  It was fun....then I had to clean up which took about an hour.

If you look on the left, you can see the "flower" Kennedy made from a smashed skittle on a pretzel stick.

While we were home, cozy and warm, listening to Christmas music, decorating our gingerbread house and munching on delicious candies, Matthew and Layne were on the slopes.  Layne was attempting to teach Matt how to ski....it was 2 degrees plus the windchill factor.  I think Matthew would have enjoyed it more had he not been a popsicle.

Your family is as near perfect as they come:-)
Love Kennedy's little pretzel flower. Hyrum has grown into quite the little character. Glad to hear that you're having "potty" success. That's a great photo of Matt at the top of your blog. I'm gonna see if I can copy it. Bet he'll love skiing just as much as Kennedy.
