So Kennedy got her shots today so she can register for kindergarten next week!! She has always been VERY sensitive to pain (she takes after her mother). Anyway, she screamed bloody murder when she got them (two in each leg) and then continued to sob all the way to the car. She cried every time she talked about her shots to anyone the whole day. She wouldn't bend her legs when she walked because she said it hurt. At one point she asked me if she was going to have to get a wheel chair!! She is too funny. I'm just glad that she's so excited to go to kindergarten, otherwise I don't think she would have had any incentive to get the shots over with.
Kennedy is also sensitive to others, not just herself. When we visited her great-grandma today, she was showing us how her wrist that she broke was doing better. Kennedy said, "It's because I prayed for you to get better, grandma."
Matthew is continuously coming up with ways to make people laugh. His new thing is telling knock-knock jokes. He was telling knock-knock jokes while were at dinner with my parents. For 3 jokes in a row Matthew messed up and kept saying, "Oh, I ruined the joke." So, Layne tries telling one and forgets the punchline....it went like this:
Layne: Knock knock
Matthew: who's there?
Layne: It's genetic (referring to him messing up like Matt)
Matthew: Genetic who?
We thought this was pretty funny. Tonight Matthew was pretending to turn monsters in to princesses. He told me that he married one of the princesses and then brought "her" up to meet me. I told him she seemed nice and Matt said, "Ya she's very nice and she even tells me jokes." I have a feeling Matt's future wife will have to have a good sense of humor.
This is my chubby 15-month-old Hyrum........don't you LOVE the fat rolls? They jiggle when he walks. I think it's adorable. He went to the doctor for shots today also. He weighs 25lbs. 13 ounces. I can tell that he feels heavier....I'm still waiting for him to thin out since he's been walking, but it's not happening yet.
Hyrum's new tricks are putting things over his head to hide and trying to WALK down the stairs!! He walked down one today and then proceeded to fall down the rest! OUCH! He's such a pleasant baby even if he has a death wish.

Kennedy is hilarious, shes such a little actress. Matt and Hyrum sound adorable. We have to plan something so we can see you guys. I miss you!
girls really are so dramatic huh? it only seems to get worse as they get older too..great fun! at least we can still just laugh at them, maybe not their faces, but silently or after they have left the room.
I do so love the fat rolls! Chubby babies are the best, a little heavy to lug around the house, but indeed fun to squeeze and munch on! :)
YAY for chubby walking babies. He's sooooo cute! I've gotta do Tegan's shots sometime too. SO not looking forward to it. I was looking at the old slides the other day, and Matt seriously looks like Jay when he was little. They even have some of the same personality traits I think =0). We miss you guys =0(. Are you still planning on trying to come at the end of the month?
