After taking Kennedy shopping for school clothes at the mall on Saturday, she decided that the mall was her new favorite place........not because of the clothes mind you, but because she got to ride the escalator, ride a quarter ride and play in the play area. She told me that we HAD to go to the mall for Family Home Evening. Layne and I weren't too hip on the idea, so we decided to take them to Funland instead. Funland has about 3 rides for small children and a ferris wheel. We let Hyrum ride on the two rides he could and then Layne took the older kids on the ferris wheel. I'm glad Layne didn't lose his cookies as he has done before from riding the ferris wheel. Luckily, just as we were running out of tickets, they closed. So we of course had to head on over for one more ice cream cone at Reed's Dairy. YUM. I think the kids had a good time. Hyrum was SCREAMING mad when the rides ended and he had to get off!
