Well, things have been anything but dull around here. On Friday I was feeling pretty good about myself as I had turned in everything to renew my teaching license. I got my copy of my transcripts Friday afternoon and felt like I was in a bad dream.....I only completed 5 credits, not the 6 that I need!! AAGGHH! I'm not sure what will happen...hopefully they will give me an extension and let me finish that one credit. I could kick myself!
Saturday afternoon I went to finish some things on the computer and my monitor had these pretty rainbow lines going vertically across the whole screen. I turned it off, restarted the computer and NOTHING. Layne brought home his monitor from work and it worked fine, so at least it wasn't the computer. Well, we went shopping that night and I figured I might as well get a new computer at the same time before it crashes too. Can I just say that I LOVE my new computer. I love the feel of the new keyboard, I love the bright new screen with no scratches, I love the super thin tower that gives my desk a little more space, I even love the little sounds my computer makes as they are different than my old one. Now I just need to figure out exactly how to do everything I want to do on it. The guy at Sam's Club did tell us about a "magic" cord. It costs about $40 and you hook it up from your old computer to your new computer and it transfers everything over that you want!! How slick is that?
After much debate, over whether I would lose my sanity or not, I have enrolled and started swimming lessons for all three kids. Today was our first day and seeings as Matt woke up at 4:00 this morning and stayed AWAKE until time for swimming lessons, I was extremely nervous. BUT, it turned out GREAT! Matthew and Kennedy are the only 2 in their class and Hyrum only has one other baby in his "Shrimp" class....it's a Mommy and Me class. The kids did great and their were no disasters whatsoever. Both Kennedy and Matthew said it was one of the best days EVER! They are so excited to go back tomorrow. It is a 5-day-a-week for two weeks class. I guess it's a good way to end summer.
AND my little brother and his wife finally had their little baby girl today! Congratulations! How exciting! I can't wait to meet her.
Well, that's pretty much all of the excitement for now.

Sounds like you will be busy and have been busy. Hopefully, things will work out with the teaching renewal.
