Kennedy....she is just so thoughtful and giving. Layne's brother sent some apricots and Kennedy has been saving all of the pits (is that what you call them?) because she wants to take one to each neighbor so they can plant their own apricot tree. I told her we should plant them and when the fruit comes, she can take them some apricots. So, she is planning on growing an ORCHARD in our back yard!
Matthew: Every night Matthew's prayers have gone something like this: "Bless me to have a baby sister and if Hyrum tries to scratch her, I'll give him a time-out." (No, this is not an announcement.)
Hyrum: I am completely enjoying this phase of Hyrum's life. What a little doll. He's starting to talk a little more. My favorite was when he was making a mess with his popsicle and Layne told him that if he kept it up he was going to take his popsicle away. Hyrum looked right at him and said, "No, mine."
He also goes to bed better than my other kids ever did. I will lay him down in his bed and he will wave and say "bye". Then he will blow me kisses. What's even better, a few nights last week he woke up in the middle of the night, I gave him a drink, read him a story and thought for sure he'd cry when I tried to lay him back down, but he didn't. He waved and said "bye". Yes, I will be enjoying that while it lasts.

Melanie,
It sounds like yesterday was a better day for you. I still can't wait to see the new style (I know it is cute).
Can you believe just one more day and swimming is over. It went by fast, huh?
Mattea just saw the pictures of your kids, and is now insisting we go swim. I have a feeling she isn't going to handle the disappointment well.
Love ya
Your kids are so cute. I sure do miss them. That's Great that they like swimming lessons.
Matt is so dang cute, already protective of a future little sister! Yep, Zachs teacher is Heidi. Thats how I found out about the letter. She came up to me at chuch and mentioned it. I almost died when I read it!
