Escargo

It's hard to see the snail in this photo.....what I notice is the crazy shirt Kennedy chose to wear under this cute little dress. No worries, we didn't go out in public.

Matthew was very happy to have found a slimy little friend.

Sunday afternoon, Layne found this HUGE snail in our backyard. I don't know that I've ever seen a live snail and my question is: What is this snail doing in Idaho? Anyway, the kids quickly adopted him as their pet and Layne named him Escargo. Matthew of course wanted to name him Darth Vader but Layne thought his name was a better fit (I have to agree). They are sad that we wouldn't let them keep the poor thing in a jar and so he is in our backyard........somewhere.
