"If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father who is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?" 3 Nephi 13:11
I think the first time I really thought about that scripture, Kennedy was a baby. I thought it was beautiful and very profound. Now that my kids are older, I am starting to gain a better understanding of it all. Kennedy swore up and down that all she wanted from Santa was a Rubix cube (a cube puzzle, as she called it). I know Kennedy and I know how frustrating a Rubix cube is. "Santa" brought her a Rubix cube and a Marshmellow Maker. She was thrilled and I have to say I've only seen her with the Rubix cube once! I know that our Heavenly Father does indeed know which gifts are best for us. Unfortunately, they are NOT always the gifts that we think would be best for us. I have also learned that the trials He gives us can become a great gift if we will let them. Here are three of my favorite gifts:Hryum..........with his pig from Santa.
Mattie..........with his Backugon (I have no clue how to spell that) and behind him the ROBOT Santa brought him.
Kennedy....I think she had a good day.
I can't even begin to name all of the wonderful gifts that God has given me but my kiddos and my husband are definitely at the tip top.
Hyrum also got a guitar. He first tried using it as a sword. He was swinging it around saying, "ha yuh, ha yah"! Too funny.
This is my attempt to get a photo of the kids in front of the tree (this was actually the Sunday before Christmas). Hyrum was having nothing of that!! I think I have a better one, but my HP photo program is being weird and I can't rotate it. I'll try again later.
