Too Funny!

My boys are very snotty-nosed and coughing, so while Kennedy and Layne are at church, we are hanging out here at home.  I had to post a few funny things that my kids have been saying before I forget.

We have finally got a LOT of snow and the kids were soooo excited.  On Monday, it snowed at least 4 inches while Layne was at work and I looked out the window to see our neighbor, Marsha, (whom my kids adore) snowblowing our driveway.   I said, "Oh, look kids, Marsha is clearing our driveway.  That is so nice."  They yelled, "Yay!  She's giving us more snow!"  A few days later, our neighbor on the other side, Charlie, was snowblowing our driveway for us.  The kids had the same response, "That is so nice of Charlie.  He's giving us more snow for our snow fort."  Isn't it funny how kids look at the world.  It cracked me up.   I think they honestly believe that the only reason people shovel their walks is to put more snow on their lawns to play in!!

This morning, Matthew said something that I thought was pretty funny.  I was pretty tired and grumpy since I was up with Hyrum in the night, but what Matt had to say still made me smile.   To preface this, I think Matthew thinks about marriage and his future wife much more than any 4-year-old boy does or should.  He was holding a book and he came up and said, "Mom, I hope my wife doesn't drink coffee." (I have no idea where this came from).  So I said, "Yep, 'cause if she does you can't get married in the temple."  Matthew says, "Ya, if she tries to drink coffee, I'll just whack her with a book and spoon all of the coffee into the sink."   ha ha ha............where does he come up with this stuff?
