Okay, Layne doesn't really have a new girlfriend. It's just me with drastically darker hair. Is this what I had in mind when I went to the salon today? No. Is this what the stylist had in mind when we talked about a caramel color? No. What the heck happened? I don't know. Do I like it? I'm not sure. I think it looks healthier, but it feels REALLY dark. I've had dark hair before and I think I had pretty much decided NEVER to go that dark again. My stylist offered to put free highlights in it if I don't love it in a few days. Problem. Layne actually likes it. What do you think?

I think it's super cute Mel, but you always look super cute no matter what. I think you should feel comfortable too though, so if you want to get highlights....that would look great as well. Like I said....you couldn't look bad if you tried. MISS YA!!

Mel, I agree with Telisha. You couldn't look bad no matter what. I think I would go for the highlights, though. It seems a little dark for your skin coloring. Don't you just hate the fact that the color on the bottle isn't always true. I hold my breath every time I color. Love ya! I like the style, but I always think of you as a blond. Its cute, just not the Mel I remember. And I hate that anything looks good on you! =P

You seriously looked smokin' tonight. It may not be what you were expecting, but really, I thought your hair looked fantastic. The style & color are very classy. Just do whatever you feel. Don't worry about the opinion of others.
Plus, Layne likes it, which is the only thing that really counts.

i like it alot, I say keep it dark for awhile, at least till summer then you can brighten it up with some highlights! :)
