Making the Most of an Icy Idaho Winter

These are Winter Sun Catchers that the kids and I made.  I found it in my Family Fun magazine.  You can see how to make them here.  With the high this week expected to be 38 degrees and spring nowhere in sight, I thought these were perfect for brightening up our wintery scene.  Yes, winters are long here, but you couldn't pull this off in Mesquite.  I never did hear if the Groundhog saw his shadow, but I'm gonna assume that he did.
P.S.  The kids and I think that Ice Ornaments are a better name.

I'm totally going to copy you. I'm getting tired of the cold winter days & trying to find meaningful activities...this one will be fun:)
