Matthew has been signed up for soccer. Layne bought him his first pair of cleats and shin guards. He starts soccer in April...I hope he likes it......
Kennedy has been getting ready for Valentine's Day, making heart creations out of playdough, making her Valentine's box for school, practicing her handwriting and reading. She also lost ANOTHER tooth!
Hyrum continues to destroy his room as much as possible. Soon he will be in a room with ONLY a bed to sleep in. He is into EVERYTHING!
In an attempt to keep my kids occupied with something besides movies, we made Goobleck (cornstarch and water). The kids thought it was pretty fun and I thought it was a HUGE mess.

I have been doing the usual...cooking, cleaning, attempting to sew, reading my book for book club, not exercising and feeling a teeny bit guilty, attending meetings for church, helping at K's school, dragging all of the kids to the craft store (bad idea) and pestering my husband about what FUN things are we going to do over the long weekend..........and so my favorite part of the week was making this cute hair bow last night with my girlfriends. Sometimes you just need a night out with the girls. I know I do.......I think even if we were getting together to make tuna casserole, I'd be there! It's not about the project for me, it's about the socializing. Kennedy loved it and looked pretty festive for her Valentine's Day Party at school today.
