A River Trip

      Layne's parents and grandma were camping up in Island Park and they called to invite us to float down the river yesterday.  It was so nice to get out of the house and spend time with them.  The kids had a blast!

Grandma gave them each a bucket with a shovel so they were collecting things the whole trip...mostly water.  Hyrum said he was cooking soup and he really kept drinking the river water!!

Kennedy and Matthew took turns being the "captain of the boat".  The captain has to have a hat, you know.

This is one of the moose we saw....we saw a total of 5 moose  (one was a HUGE bull).

We also saw this crane.......and then it saw us and flew away.

What a great day.
