Believe it or not, Hyrum became a Sunbeam on Sunday. Unfortunately, he was not his sweet self on Sunday due to lack of sleep and not feeling up to par. He marched around all of Sunday morning saying, "I NOT GOING TO CHURCH!" It didn't help that our new block time is 11:00, lunch and nap time. He was not too impressed with going to Primary, but I'm hoping he'll be in better spirits next Sunday. He is a funny kid....he randomly said the other night, "I the boss, Mom. Dad says no, but I am the boss."
One day last week, Layne had Matthew help him take apart all of the heat vents, clean them out and put them back together. Matt is also the proud new owner of his own tool box and screwdrivers.
This little girl never ceases to amaze me. I was telling her that I was going to make a scripture bag for Hyrum since he will now need his own Book of Mormon to take to church on Sundays. Kennedy thought that was so exciting and said, "I can't wait until he understands what the Book of Mormon really means. It makes me so happy that I want to cry every time I think about the scriptures."
Later this evening, a little girl from her class stopped by to invite her to her birthday party. You can tell this little girl is a bit slow and looks different than the other kids, but Kennedy was soooo sweet to her. After she left, I asked Kennedy if she wanted to go to the party and she said she did because Elizabeth is so nice to everyone. I'm glad that Kennedy sees people as children of God, not as the world might see them. She is a good girl.
Here's my silly boys after church on Sunday. Unfortunately, Mattie woke up last night throwing up and continued through the night. I can honestly say that I've never seen Matt so sick. That's not saying too much as he just doesn't get sick that often, but it was still sad to see him so listless and pale. I'm hoping he's on the mend and no one else gets the bug.
