What the Heck?

What the....heck?   What the....heck?  This is a phrase my 3-year-old keeps saying over and over and yes, he pauses for a minute and kind of makes you wonder what four-letter word will follow.  I know where he got it and anyone who talks to me regularly knows where he got it.  It just strikes me really funny when I hear him say it AND at the same time sort of mortifies me.  I can just see him shouting out in Primary, "What the HECK?" 

On a side note....I have said this phrase for a REALLY long time.  I remember saying it when I taught school in Las Vegas and one of my non-LDS friends thought it was so funny.  She said, "Did you really just say, 'what the HECK'?"  She used a lot more colorful language than me, so it seemed pretty humorous to her. 

I guess there are worse things my kids could say, but it does open my eyes to just how bad it sounds.
