Ice Skating: Days 7 & 8

Day 7:  Hyrum had a good nap and was actually excited to go ice skating (although I think he may have thought we were going skiing because the whole day we were skiing, he kept calling his skiis "ice skates").  He got out on the ice and actually let go of me for a few minutes here and there, but by the end he was hanging on me.  For the lesson there was only one teacher again, so I stayed with him, but he wouldn't really participate.  Matthew and Kennedy did great and are getting pretty confident on the ice.

Day 8:  Matthew and Hyrum both woke up congested and coughing.  I decided to keep them home from ice skating (I was completely okay with that).  But, Kennedy still wanted to go so she hitched a ride with a friend.  I guess on the last day they do testing.  She said she did really good on her "swizzles" and could even go backwards.  I think lessons were a success for her, but I don't see myself putting a 3-year-old in anything like that again.

aw at least one kid enjoyed it right?! Its all about the "experience" :) And you are an awesome mom for even having the energy to put your kids in fun sports like ice skating....I mean not too many kids can say they have taken lessons like that. :)
