The Bamboo Princess

Kennedy got to perform in "The Bamboo Princess" for her ballet recital.  She was a frog (and a very cute one at that).  Minus the waiting time at the 3 practices, I think Kennedy really enjoyed it....she still wants to take ballet again next fall!

The program started at 4:30pm which was earlier than usual.  That gave us time to have my parents over for dinner afterwards.  In celebration of the little frog dancer, we had frog-eyed salad with our hamburgers and hot dogs.  Then we had froggy cake pops.  I was afraid my cake was too soggy, but they were pretty tasty and the kids LOVED them.  It was a fun, but kind of crazy weekend.  I felt like I hardly saw my boys at all.  They didn't mind; they were busy going to the park, riding bikes and running to the hardware store with Layne.

The entire class of frogs.

Kennedy with her good friend, Aria.

The kids with Grandma and Grandpa after dinner....tired and crazy!
