What are the Odds?

Layne had the day off today and we ended up getting things done that we had been wanting to.  He had been wanting to get out to the garden and get some of our carrots and potatoes and I had been wanting to get photos of the family with my new camera.  We made it over by the river by 3:00 or so, the wind hadn't whipped up yet and it wasn't too cold.  I was getting some really good photos of the kids (see Hyrum below).  Now what you may ask can make a happy cute kid go from this....
to this.....?

I had literally just taken the first photo of Hyrum, he ran off to be by the other kids and then was suddenly screaming and acting like there was something in his mouth that he couldn't get out.  Turns out there was something in his mouth and I couldn't get it out either.  A bee had stung him right on the tip of his tongue and the stinger was stuck in his tongue!!!  What are the odds?  And why do I have such bad luck trying to get a danged family photo?  I felt so bad for little Hyrum.  He is a pretty tough kid, but even after we pulled the stinger out, he cried for at least 10 minutes, the photo shoot was put on hold and we went to get him some "Bug Juice" his favorite thing in the world.....but his tongue hurt so bad he wouldn't even drink it.  We drove around to calm him down and he fell asleep.  We went to a new location and I got a few more good photos, but the wind came up and it got chilly and the kids were pumped full of bug juice so I don't know if the family photo will be "the one".  My husband is sure it's the one (he hates photos), so I guess we'll see.

The dreaded photo shoots! You win for most original reason it didn't work out at least! :)
