Hyrum getting sized for his gear...I think he liked how his cheeks felt when he smiled in his goggles...he had this silly permagrin the whole time he was getting his boots sized.
I have no photos of us actually skiing because we were helping kiddos the entire time. I should have given the camera to Kennedy who was forever cruising down the hill and waiting for us at the bottom. I was really nervous because they don't have a bunny hill at Jackson Hole, you have to ride the lift and then you have a few different hills you can go down. But, Kennedy and Matt are getting pretty self sufficient at getting on and off and Layne took Hyrum (who loved it). Hot chocolate break....Hyrum was crying that he was cold and wanted a nap. We warmed up and I sent Layne back up the mountain with Kennedy and Matt. They had been gone about 5 minutes when Hyrum said, "I want to ride that cliff (the lift) again and go skiing." So, we headed back up the mountain again. The wind kicked up and it was snowing, so we only went two more times.
There was a fun ice castle that the kids wanted to play on after we got done skiing.
Did I mention we had no clue which road to take to get there or get home? I saw a sign for Idaho Falls, and insisted that Layne take it...we went through the Teton Pass in a snowstorm at 20 mph. It was a little scary, but absolutely beautiful. We will definitely be heading back to Jackson...we just need to figure out the best way to get there...my mom says there is no good way, which makes me feel a little better.
