I HAD to post this before I forget......

When Matt and Kennedy woke up from their naps today, they came into my room to find me. I always lay down to read when I actually get all 3 kids down at the same time. Without fail, I end up curled up in the covers and fast asleep. Today, I was buried in the covers so much that I guess my kids couldn't see me. So, I hear Kennedy tell Matt that I'm gone......then I can only hear Matthew.

He says with complete shock in his voice, "You mean we're HOME ALONE?"
Kennedy says something that I can't make out and then Matt...."We could call the police to come check it out."
Kennedy says something else and then Matthew says, "Sister, I do have Super Powers and I think I can save this day."

Finally I decided to emerge from my blankets and let them know that they are NOT home alone. Heaven forbid they actually try to call the police or something. I can just see them running to the neighbors to tell them that their mom left them all alone.

Still makes me laugh! :)
