Hyrum wasn't feeling very well last week. He was congested and snotty-nosed. Matthew's prayer went something like this. "......please bless Hyrum to feel better..." (then he looks over at Hyrum and keeps praying) ".....ewww, his nose is all snotty and gross....help him to not be sick anymore..."
Then, the other night before bed he prays, ".....please bless us to sleep well (then he glances up at me) and I had a really long nap so I can stay up late....."
Matt isn't the only one sending subtle prayer messages......we were praying over dinner one night and their was a toy catalog on the table. Matt grabs it and starts flipping through it during the prayer that Kennedy is offering. So she says, "....please bless Matt to be more reverent and to stop looking through that magazine..."
I know I shouldn't think it's funny, but I do. At least they're praying, right?
