I think Kennedy had a good 6
th birthday. She didn't want to take cupcakes for her classmates (because they have to be store bought) so she helped me make these candy holders and fill them with candy. We made them for free because I had all the paper and glue and we used leftover Halloween candy!

Her Grandma and Grandpa
Maxfield and Great Grandma Moore came for the weekend. (I never got a photo of the grandmas!)

Her Grandma and Grandpa Hayes and Great Grandma Hayes came for dinner on her birthday. Kennedy was the perfect hostess....she gave the grandmas
tiaras to wear and their own little treat bag.

When Layne lit the candles the first time, he about burned his finger off. He quickly blew out the match and accidentally blew out ALL of Kennedy's candles. Kennedy looked
devastated until Layne
re lit them. It was funny.

Here's Kennedy with her Great Grandma.

Kennedy had set up blankets on the floor for her "movie night". All of the grandparents were good sports while they watched "Barbie and the 12 Dancing Princesses".

I got this
marshmallow fondant recipe (and many tips) from my friend, Jen. It tastes pretty good and Kennedy got to help make the fondant, color it and cut the flowers. She loved it! I think she had a great birthday. Now I'm gearing up to make a cake for
Hyrum's birthday!
