A few weeks ago, I was reading a favorite, "The Foot Book" by Dr. Suess to Hyrum. When we got to the picture below, he pointed at it and said, "dat Mom!" Nice. I didn't really think much of it until I was reading it to him again a few nights later and he stopped and again pointed to this lady and said, "dat Mom!" So laughing, I said, "That's what you think I look like?" Hyrum just started giggling and giggling which made me laugh and we just sat there laughing for a few minutes all the while, he would point at the picture and say, "dat Mom.....ha ha ha!"
I have to say, it's fairly accurate...short, darkish hair, a big nose....can't keep her eyes open and GREAT socks!
Last week we read the story again so Layne could see who he was married to and Hyrum pointed to the above picture and said, "dat Tennedy." Again, I have to say, he's not too far off....long, yellow hair, tiny and looking very pleased with herself. I bet you're wondering which Dr. Suess character Hyrum thinks YOU look like!!

You are raising some very insightful children! I think Hyrum hit those 2 very close, especially the great socks and the quite pleased with herself look of "Tennedy". Yeah, I'd like to know who he thinks I look like:)
I'm not saying I agree with him, but "dat" is funny. Do you have a yellow nightgown as well?
I'd be afraid to read, "Horton hears a who' with him!
