About a month ago, Kennedy was having a particularly bad day. She was adjusting to being at school all day and then having to come home and do homework and chores. She was feeling ripped off when it came to her "free time". I asked her to do her homework and help clean up............she thought I was being mean. She stormed off to her room. A few minutes later, she emerged and handed me this note:
Translation: "You were right. I am sorry. I am helping right now. Love, Kennedy"
I LOVE that she loves to write. I'm glad that she will attempt to write even if she isn't sure how to spell all of the words yet. She is growing up!
