Family Trip May 2009

We finally took the kids to Hogle Zoo because last year Kennedy asked me if elephants were extinct!! They had a ball....Hyrum was especially excited to see all of the animals. The kids each got to choose a souvenir....notice Kennedy's leopard mask....she had matching paws and a tail, however we lost the tail.....that was quite the ordeal and Layne volunteered me to make her a new one!

The kids were so excited to go swimming with their cousins. Eventually we bought our kids life jackets and they could "swim" on their own. They would have stayed in the pool all day if we would have let them.

The Dinosaur Museum was a big hit....Hyrum slept through most of it, but the kids stayed at the hands-on table for over 45 minutes!

At the farm we were fortunate to see 2 colts that had been born within 3 hours of us getting there. WOW! Amazing. I think overall the kids had a great time. We stopped at Chuck E. Cheese on the way home...........then the kids decided that was their favorite part of the trip! All in all it was great fun....plus no cooking or cleaning for 4 days!
