I still remember getting my first library card. I got it in the bookmobile when we lived in Salt Lake. For those of you who don't know what the bookmobile is, it is basically like a large ice cream truck that you can walk through and it has a bunch of books on both sides. The bookmobile would come in the summertime once a week and park in our neighborhood for three or four hours. I remember seeing the green bookmobile and being sooo excited. Of course, my mom, who loves to read took us EVERY week.
Layne swinging Hyrum....the sun is right in his face, that's why he's got his hands over his face. This week Hyrum said, "go" and "baby"...this is big for him. Compared to my other children at this age, Hyrum is a mute. He really can say a few things, but I think he just doesn't care to talk. I really believe that he is putting all of his effort into climbing up on the table and to the top of the kids' fort.........he is big, but he is strong and fast!

Matthew having a snack of yogurt after running through the sprinklers.....the one day it got up to 90 degrees. This weather here is a little confusing........what month is it?

This is the bottom of Kennedy's magnet board. I soooo wanted to decorate it with a bunch of different colors....however, when the entire room is bubble-gum pink, you kind of have to stick to the basics.

Here's the magnet board and the nice pink paint behind it. I hung it by myself....I know, not that it's hard, but I grew up in a house where my dad had to hang up EVERYTHING and pretty much we had to beg and plead for months before he would do it......so I still feel like I have to run it by Layne and then beg and plead and have him do it so I won't ruin the walls. Well, once I finished it, I decided just to hang it up. How exhilarating!

The magnet board is terrific, sort of a modern version of the bulletin boards that my girls had in their rooms. Gotta love them. Girls need a place to post stuff!!!
