I don't know about you, but anytime I tried to make the jello jigglers with the recipe from the Jello box, they just didn't turn out so well. Here's the recipe to the best jello jigglers ever! They are close to rubbery which the kids love and don't make such a mess while they are eating them. They make a nice thick, tasty jiggler.
If you're using small boxes of jello:
4 envelopes Knox unflavored gelatin
3 packages flavored gelatin (3 oz. each)
4 cups boiling water
If you're using large boxes of jello:
6 envelopes Knox unflavored gelatin
2 packages flavored gelatin (6 oz. each)
6 cups boiling water
Whisk everything together and pour into a 9x13 cake pan. Layne's mom gave me some good advice of putting the pan in the fridge first and then pouring the jello into the pan....moving the pan with hot liquid is quite the feat...and can prove to be a bit messy. She has a nice HUGE bowl with a spout on it that works great.
