Murder Mystery Dinner

Some friends invited us to a Murder Mystery Dinner on Saturday night. We were each given a character that we were supposed to play and we were all attending an after the Oscar's party. I, of course, was a very talented actress who had just won the Oscar and stolen everyone else beau. So, I was also the one that ended up getting murdered. It was lots of fun and our friends that hosted it put forth a lot of effort. We even had our own paparazzi to take pictures when we got to their house and a red carpet to walk on. I found the dress at the D.I. for $15 (it had never been worn). Unfortunately, it had no sleeves, thus the black cardigan. I did love my jewelry and wish you could have seen the "stretchy" diamond ring I wore.

Layne was an ex-band member and aspiring actor. You can't really tell, but he tried to wear his hair messy (that was a big deal to him). He actually got into his role really well and when called up on the "stage" he even did his punk rocker face. I was not so convincing with my role, when I was murdered, I lay there laughing! It was a fun night and something that we never would have done on our own.
